Welcome to Katz Financial Services

"It ain't what you know that gets you in trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so."  -  Often attributed to Mark Twain

For over 39 years, Jeff Katz has built his financial practice around a simple belief: people make better financial decisions when they understand their choices.

Jeff often begins a conversation with a simple question: "If something you believed to be true about your money wasn't actually true, would you want to know?"

That question reflects how Jeff approaches financial planning: listen, educate, and help clients make informed decisions.

Over the years, Jeff has come to believe that financial planning is about more than investments. Retirement income, taxes, risk management, insurance, estate planning, and healthcare all play an important role in a person's financial future.  His approach is to look at the whole picture and how these areas work together.

That commitment to comprehensive planning and lifelong learning led Jeff to earn the CLU®, ChFC®, RICP®, and AIF® designations. He continues to pursue education because he believes that earning a client's trust comes with a responsibility to keep learning.

Today, Jeff is joined at KFS by his wife, Cindy, and son, Gregg. Gregg began his career under the mentorship of his father, fulfilling a lifelong dream of helping individuals, families, and business owners reach their financial objectives by providing guidance on insurance needs, investment and savings strategies, debt management, and other important financial decisions. Cindy oversees the firm's technology, marketing, and operational functions, allowing Jeff to focus on serving clients and helping them achieve their financial goals.

For Jeff, good financial planning is about asking the right questions, understanding the possibilities, and helping clients make decisions that are right for them.
